You are here: Home > How to Search
Keyword searches on the site can involve location, subject, time of year (spring, fall, etc) "Bird" is not a standard search word, whereas "eagle", "heron", "hummingbird" all work. Location includes state, city, park (i.e. Yellowstone), etc. "Mammal" is not an available keyword, but "elk", "deer", "bighorn", "goat", "bear" are all valid.
"Vertical" as a keyword will be available on all new images that have a vertical orientation.
The "Power Search" allows you to specify "and/or" boolean searches. It also allows you to limit the search to a specific category on the site, or all categories. Your results may be sorted alphabetically or by date the image(s) were added to the site.
